On Jun 30, 2010, the agreement was signed by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency to implement the „Development of the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park Service Centre (PSTP) – Stage 2” project within the framework of the Development of Eastern Poland Operational Programme 2007 -2013, Priority I. Modern Economy, Action I.3 Supporting Innovation, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget.

Project duration: Jul 01, 2008 – Nov 30, 2015.

The project objective is to:

• Develop a complete technical infrastructure on a 48-ha site located in the S1-3 Zone, which was connected to the Rzeszów water supply system and the municipal sewage treatment plant,
• The establishment of 4 research and development laboratories, of which 3  are  part of the AEROPOLIS Research Laboratory, on a site owned by the Rzeszów University of Technology (incl. the Laboratory of Composite and Polymer Materials for Aerospace, the Laboratory of IT System Applications in Diagnostics, the Laboratory of Computer-Aided Testing and Design of Aerospace Structures and Alternative Renewable Energy Sources), while one laboratory (biotechnology) is located on the premises of the University of Rzeszów.
• Construction of the Technology Incubator and the PSTP Support Centre, including:
  • The main building of area of about 5,300 m2 where 39 office rooms, 12 production halls (100, 200 and 300 m2), a conference room for 200 people, and two meeting rooms for 18 and 20 people are available for rent.
  • The Hall I (4,400 m2) includes three production/service modules (950 m2, 1040 m2, and 740 m2) and office rooms (from 35 to 47 m2), a total area of 1,570 m2.
  • The Hall II (2,600 m2) that consists of four production/service modules (from 600 m2 to 740 m2).
  • Construction of a PV power system over the PPNT Technology Incubator parking lot.

First of all the Incubator invites start-ups and the enterprises that are based in AEROPOLIS. It is also an opportunity for continuing business operations for all entities graduating from the PSTP Academic Pre-Incubator.

Rooms in the Incubator are subject to rent on preferential terms. The base rent rates may be reduced by 20% in the first, 15% in the second and 10% in the third year of business activity.
