The idea to create the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park (PSTP)
The Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park (PSTP) is one of the policy tools to increase the competitiveness of the economy, to implement state-of-the-art technologies and to manage knowledge and capital resources. It is a link transforming innovative scientific ideas into modern technological solutions that are then marketed by enterprises. This approach helps create an attractive environment that encourages creation of business and, consequently, new jobs.

This investment project focused on building new infrastructure in undeveloped land.
The scope of the project was to develop a basic infrastructure and make it available to high-technology companies to ensure encouraging conditions for running their businesses.
The project was implemented in three zones:
- S1 Jasionka – located in the villages of Jasionka and Tajęcina, the district of Trzebownisko
- S2 Rogoźnica – located in the village of Rogoźnica, the district of Głogów Małopolski
- S3 Politechnika – located in the area owned by the Rzeszów University of Technology, the Municipality of Rzeszów.
